Are your products "originals"?
No, but they are faithful reproductions of originals. These days, the only remaining "originals" are those that are displayed in museums. Although expensive manufacturers commonly label their products as the only "authentic" ones, this is simply false.

Are there any differences between your copies and the "originals"?
Even after an exacting examination, you will not be able to detect any significant differences in quality and design. We constantly aim at keeping the quality of our products at the highest possible level, from chromium-plating to the "inner life" of our cushions.

Companies which distribute the so-called originals tend to use the same manufacturers and materials that we do, and attribute their much higher retail prices to the licensing fees that must be paid to the copyright holders. The legal situation surrounding the reproduction of articles of value in the EU is, however, still largely unclarified - despite what you might hear to the contrary.

We have worked hard to create the most efficient and cost-effective business possible, and our relatively low overheads and large inventory enable us to offer our customers lower prices than our competitors.

What if I don't like the product received?
All products sold by Bauhaus classics may be returned within 10 days of receipt without specifying a reason for dissatisfaction. In this case, we request that you contact us as soon as possible. As per agreement, we will have our logistics company collect the product in its original state and package from your home free of charge, and we will reimburse you for any payments you may have made.

Of course we would like to send you our catalogue or leather samples on request.
